President Jim Kelleher Nov 24, 2009 Jim ran for the benefit of the Community Service Projects of Woodbury Rotary, raising in excess of $5,000. Jim competed in the Males 45 TO 49 Division and finished with the time of 4:34:40. This was 5255 place overall and 3401 place for all males and 374 in his division. Jim placed in the upper 49% of a field of 15,000 runners.  View 
Happy Hour Nov 17, 2009 The Tuesday Tasting was held at the Barnesboro Inn on Tuesday, November 17th from 4-6:00 PM. The event provided an opportunity for members of The Rotary Club of Woodbury and The Woodbury Breakfast Rotary Club to meet for some fellowship and prepare for our big coordinated event of the year: Christmas for Kids.  View

Armando Rosenberg Hogar Escuela Nov 10, 2009 Since 1995; District 7640 with the help of District 7500 & The Orchid Foundation has provided a 40 Foot container which is shipped annually to the Orphanage. The containers are loaded with food and supplies that is vital to the daily operation of the Orphanage.  View

2008 Christmas for Kids Dec 9, 2008 The Club had eight participants this year. Liz, Gregg and Joyce, Paula Gallagher and her daughter Allie who are friends of Greg, Nancy and her friend Ann Marie, Don Smith. Roger and Ed. 30 kids 125.00 spent on each. Ed called a couple of parents of the kids for some feed back on our program. He received kind words and approval of how we handle the event. The parents preferred club members doing the shopping so they could stand on the sidelines and watch there kids and take in the excitement them selves.  View 
2008 Dictionary Project Oct 28, 2008 The Dictionary Project is an annual event of District 7640. The goal of this program is to assist all students in completing the school year as good writers, active readers and creative thinkers by providing students with their own personal dictionary. The dictionaries are a gift to each student to use at school and at home for years to come. Our Club is distributing dictionaries to third graders in 5 elementary schools in National Park, Wenonah and Woodbury.  View

Rotary Club of Vasto, Italy Jun 1, 2007 Woodbury Rotary Club President Ed Molinari visited the Rotary Club of Vasto, Italy. Ed spoke in Italian to present his club banner. The Vasto club members welcomed Ed, his wife, and his sister and brother in-law to their dinner meeting. The majority of the Rotary clubs in Italy hold their meetings late in the evening. The Vasto club invites the members spouses to the meetings once a month. Vasto is a resort town near the Adriatic Sea. It is located in the Chieti province, Abruzzo region of southern Italy.  View

The students organized the afternoon event which included food, drinks, a DJ, and a king and queen. Over 40 residents attended and had a grand time. The Woodbury Rotary Club donated flowers for all the guests and bouquets for the king and queen.  View

Rotary Day at the United Nations Nov 4, 2006 These pictures were submitted by Virginia Steward. The quality was diminished somewhat by my scanner when I digitized them. The quality is good enough to areas of interest like the cafeteria and the meeting room. You can see the ear piece that we had to use. These were used to hear what was said, not for listening to a translation. That’s another system we didn’t have access to.  View

"Storing natural gas as a liquid is relatively common throughout the United States. There are more than 120 locations around the country, mainly in the Northeast." Crown Landing will be the most modern facility of its type in the United States. Chris spoke of his role as Marine in Iraq assigned to a Civil Affairs Unit. He was station mostly in the Fullujah, a heavily pro Saddam area of Iraq.
