Album Name: Rotary Trail Return to Albums

Description: These pictures were taken to show what must be done to bring the trail back after it was partially destroyed during the construction of Underwood Hospital’s new parking garage.

Rotary Trail, in Red, along the north bank of Woodbury Creek. The Red represents Rotary trail destroyed during the construction of the parking garage. The yellow is the untouched section of the trail not maintained by Rotary. Rotary Trail, in Red, as seen from the parking garage. This section was destroyed  by the Parking garage construction & yellow part of trail, not Rotary responsibility, was untouched. Rotary Trail entrence from Broad Street. Only the sign has been replaced. This bridge is the Western end of that part of the trail known as Rotary Trail. Rotary maintains from here to Broad Street. View West toward the bridge and the untouched trail beyond. The section between this bridge and Broad Street need to be restored.
View east from the Bridge toward Broad Street. This is the section that needs to be rebuilt. This section of the trail was undisturbed by the construction. This section of the undisturbed trail shows the picnic area used by hospital employees. This is not a Rotary trail but it is one of the paths leading around to the various playing fields after Rotary Trail ends at Tatum Street. The South bank of Woodbury Creek. Rotary Trail connects with other trails to link up to this bridge. The monument just to the left of the bridge honors George Benjamin, Jr., one of Woodbury's Medal of Honor recipients.
