The foundation for District 7640 History is a book published in June of 1990 by Herbert A. Budd, Jr., DG 1989-90 "75TH ANNIVERSARY HISTORY OF DISTRICT 764". It has been reproduced here in the sub folder as "District 764 1913-1990."

The project at that time was to publish the definitive history of what had then comprised of District 764 from the organization of Districts in 1915 to the charter of the Woodbury Rotary Breakfast Club, the district's 65th club 75 years later. The project had the cooperation of all the districts 65 clubs, each contributing their part.

The goal of this web sight is to update the district history and provide a platform to maintain the  history of District 7640 current.

All are invited to contribute toward this end. Past District Governors are encouraged to mark their term. Past Presidents and current members need updating. Not all the original clubs exist in the same shape they were organize when chartered. Some split and some combined and some have disappeared. It's all part of our history and we need your help.
